Privacy Policy
Effective: 12 – Oct – 2026 · Android · Windows · MacOS · iOS
About this policy
GIF Craft app for Android, Windows, MacOS and iOS is published by SarasPar Pvt. Ltd. This policy explains how the app handles your information. The app is intended for users aged 13 and older.
Your content stays on your device
GIF Craft processes the images you choose, camera photos you take, screenshots you approve, drawing strokes, text and animation settings on your device. It copies chosen images into its private storage so you can continue editing later. Originals may retain embedded image metadata. The app does not operate an account system or upload your content to a SarasPar server. It has no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting SDKs and does not collect location, contacts, device identifiers or payment details.
Images, camera and screen capture
You choose images through Android’s document picker. The app asks another camera app to take a photo only when you tap Camera. That camera app may use its own permissions and metadata settings. Screen capture begins only when you tap Screen and approve Android’s system consent prompt. Capture uses a short-lived foreground service, Android’s capture indicator and a service notification with a cancellation action. Notification visibility depends on your Android settings. Capture has a timeout. The captured image is returned for you to crop or discard. Screen content may include private information from other apps, so review it before saving or sharing. GIF Craft does not record audio or run continuous background screen recording.
Saving and sharing
Save writes a GIF to the location you choose in Android’s document picker. Share gives the app you select temporary read access to the exported GIF. If you choose a cloud storage location or a messaging app, that provider may send your content off the device under its own terms and privacy policy. These actions are initiated by you; GIF Craft does not automatically send your content to us or another service. Original source files are not modified by the editor.
Local drafts, backup and deletion
Drafts and their image copies remain in app-private storage between sessions. Export files may temporarily remain in cache. Unused app-owned media can be cleaned after a 24-hour grace period; files needed for draft recovery can remain longer. Removing a frame does not guarantee immediate deletion of every stored copy. To remove all app-private data, use Android Settings to clear GIF Craft’s storage or uninstall the app. GIFs you saved to other locations are separate and must be deleted using that location’s file manager or provider. This version excludes its private editor data from Android automatic cloud backup and device-to-device transfer. Export drafts you want to keep before clearing storage or changing devices.
Purchases and support
GIF Craft is offered as a paid download through Google Play, with no ads or in-app purchases in this version. Google Play processes the purchase; GIF Craft does not receive your payment card details. If you email support, SarasPar Pvt. Ltd. receives the information you voluntarily include, such as your email address, message and attachments, and uses it to respond and resolve your request. Include only information needed for support. Support correspondence is retained as needed to handle the request and meet applicable obligations; you can contact us to request deletion of correspondence, subject to those obligations. Email providers and Google Play operate under their own policies.
Security and changes
Android’s app sandbox protects private editor files. Your device security, chosen cloud services and share recipients also affect the protection of your content. We will update this policy when the app’s data handling changes. Review the effective date and the policy available in the app or on our website. New features that upload data, introduce accounts, advertising or analytics will require updated disclosures.
